Your role

You'll be a part of our Integrated Legal Solutions (ILS) team, which provides specialized data management, analysis, and document review solutions to support our disputes, investigations, and transaction matters, as well as directly supporting our clients.

As part of our wider Innovation & Digital Solutions team, you will be joining one of Australia's largest legal technology teams. As a Senior Legal Technology Specialist, you will:

• Play a key role in evolving and developing our ILS practice, including new legal technology and review services, to deliver value for clients and drive sustainable and profitable growth for the firm.
• Contribute to the leadership and development of strategic initiatives and growth opportunities for the firm.
• Partner with lawyers to develop and lift the adoption of innovative and technology-enabled solutions on matters.
• Act as a Performance Coach for Legal Technology Managers as well as other members of the Integrated Legal Solutions team as nominated.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Partners to facilitate strategic client engagement opportunities, help win work, and increase internal awareness of Legal Services offerings.
• Work with Partners/BD to pitch new and existing services and solutions to internal stakeholders and clients.
• Scope matters and prepare cost estimates and proposals for legal teams and clients.
• Establish and execute the legal technology and review strategy on matters.
   

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. Hybrid working (60% in the office) is how we work; however, flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.

About you

You will have:

• A depth and breadth of experience within legal technology (~10 years is about right).
• Legal technology experience specifically in litigation eDiscovery, regulatory or internal investigations or corporate due diligence.
• In-depth working knowledge of RelativityOne, including instance management and management of complex workspaces. Experience with other leading eDiscovery platforms such as Nuix and / or Reveal is desirable.
• Experience working in a legal or professional services environment.
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills with experience working in a team environment.
• The ability to manage large-scale projects with a proactive approach.
• Experience liaising with, and influencing, a variety of stakeholders and clients.
• A desire to learn, grow, network, and mentor others.
