About the Role:

As the Site HR Support, you are responsible for the delivery of Human Resources services. You will provide support to the Site Management in administering policies and programs in the following areas: employment, employee relations, wage and salary administration, training, etc.

Responsibilities Also Include:

• You interact directly with production workforce, both supervisors and individual contributors, to enforce company policies and procedures

• You are responsible for employee relations interactions and issues including investigations and documentation as needed

• You maintain authorized staffing levels for hourly work force and partner with approved staffing vendors to recruit and hire for hourly vacancies

• You maintain and/or participate in ongoing related EEO activities, wage and benefit administration, hourly job description evaluations, employee services, community relations, etc.

• You are responsible for employee orientation in accordance with the established orientation program.

• You are responsible for industrial labor relations issues including handling complaints and advising individuals and management about escalations.

• You are responsible for an apprenticeship program for skilled trades team members.

• You are responsible for recruitment of hourly production team members.

What You Should Have:

• You have experience in salaried and hourly staffing, and industrial labor relations.

• You have one or more years' experience in human resources, industrial labor relations; applicable internship and/or co-op experience will also be considered.

In addition…

• You have knowledge of government regulations, company policies, procedures and past practice is essential. 

• You have thorough knowledge of EEO and AAP regulations and recruitment procedures.

• You have excellent communication skills.

• You have proven ability to demonstrate creativity in the effective resolution of organizational problems.

• You have the ability to work effectively with associates at all organizational levels.

• You have a high degree of flexibility, energy and commitment to organizational assignments.

• Must be able to flex schedule to support other shifts when required.
