We are hiring a Principal Product Designer – Norton360 to join our team. This role is based in Prague or Brno and follows a hybrid work model, requiring 2-3 days in the office each week. We are hiring a Principal Product Designer for our ecommerce design team.

How We Work

We love to work together and collaborate in our teams, which is why we opted for a hybrid model, allowing us to work from the office 2-3 times per week. We will consider people who can work in the Prague office in hybrid capacity. We can also consider people based in London and Dublin.

Mission and Goals

Short-Term Goals:

  • Conduct thorough user research to understand needs, market trends, and product requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define problems and design intuitive solutions.
  • Create and iterate on product design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups

Long-Term Goals:

  • Shape the future of Norton360 by crafting user-centred designs that align with brand guidelines.
  • Maintain and update design documentation, style guides, and specifications.
  • Drive innovation by staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Objectives

• Develop user-centred designs for cybersecurity software that align with best practices in user experience.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to enhance the user experience.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure successful implementation of design solutions.
• Provide input on product strategy and roadmap discussions.
• Actively participate in design critiques, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional meetings.

Competencies

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Miro, and Mural.
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and accessibility standards.
  • Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts.

Design Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in software product design, preferably in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Comprehensive portfolio showcasing design process and work on complex end-to-end projects.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
