Cyber Security Analytics is focused on delivering reporting and advanced analytics insights that enable the bank to understand, manage, and continuously strengthen its cyber security posture. The team provides visibility across cyber security controls that protect the bank’s information assets, systems, and technology infrastructure, ensuring they remain secure, resilient, and trusted by our people and in turn, our customers.

Here, you’ll turn your passion for analytics into meaningful impact. We are seeking an Advanced Analytics Senior Analyst who is curious, analytical, and motivated by solving complex problems through data. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high‑quality reporting and insights that provide transparency over the bank’s cyber security posture and enable informed, risk‑based decision‑making.

You will lead complex analytical initiatives, designing and delivering cyber security metrics, dashboards, and insights that measure control effectiveness, risk trends, and performance outcomes. Working with large and diverse data sets, you will apply advanced analytics techniques and strong data visualisation practices to translate technical cyber data into clear, actionable insights for a broad range of stakeholders.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advanced Analytics Delivery & Accountability
    Own and deliver advanced analytics initiatives in partnership with Cyber Security teams, embedding analytics into the business to generate deep insights and enable data‑driven decision‑making. Act as a trusted advisor, applying the right analytical methodologies to achieve strategic outcomes.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
    Communicate complex insights clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders, translating analysis into simple, actionable recommendations. Thrive in a collaborative team environment, actively sharing knowledge and feedback to improve outcomes.

  • Data Governance & Integrity
    Uphold data governance standards, ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of data used across all analytical activities.

  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation
    Stay current with emerging trends in data analytics and machine learning, driving continuous improvement and innovation in analytical tools, techniques, and ways of working.

  • Strong analytics background with 4-6 years’ experience in Analytics, Advanced Analytics or Data Science.

  • Proficient in Python, SQL, AWS, Power BI and Tableau for data analytics (e.g. extraction, manipulation, validation) and experience with data warehouses and engines such as Teradata, Hive and Spark.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills  - the ability to understand complex problems and take a structured approach using data driven insights to solve them.

  • The ability to clearly communicate and synthesise complex issues and solutions concisely for non-technical stakeholders and decision makers in written and verbal briefings.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience and confident in constructively challenging the status quo to find improved ways of doing things.

  • Attention to detail and a passion for acquiring new knowledge, staying current with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and machine learning, driving continuous improvement and innovation

  • A passion for AI and agentic will be advantageous.
