Job Description
As a Sr. CAE Engineer, you will lead and execute the development of new engineering analysis capabilities. You will participate in Product Development teams across new, major, and minor design programs, providing simulation analyses to assess the performance of new designs. You will develop methods for root cause analysis and issue identification, and you will build Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models from CAD solid models.
Evaluate and interpret simulation results, optimize and balance requirements, draw meaningful conclusions, and recommend technical solutions.
Report results in a clear, precise, and straightforward manner, interacting directly with analysis customers to ensure full understanding of reports and recommendations.
Communicate effectively with engineers, designers, technicians, suppliers, and managers.
Demonstrate proficiency in project management skills while leading technical initiatives.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Computer Science Engineering (required).
Master’s Degree in a related field is a plus.
Experience with commercial CAE tools for pre- and post-processing, as well as solvers such as:
LS-DYNA (highly preferred)
NASTRAN
ANSYS
Abaqus
or other similar FEM tools
Relevant experience applying CAE methods in product development.
Solid understanding of simulation workflows in Safety (Crash) or Durability is a plus.
Advanced English (required for global collaboration).
Experience in the automotive industry (highly valued).
Experience in Tier 1 suppliers or engineering consulting (strongly considered).
Candidates from other industries are welcome, as long as they bring robust CAE experience.
