Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects and providing technical guidance to the team. Your typical day will involve collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and overseeing the development and implementation of applications. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, as well as providing support and guidance to junior team members. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have Influencing and Advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Analyze user needs and develop software solutions that align with business objectives. - Lead the development and implementation of applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Provide technical guidance and support to the development team. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of applications. - Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability of the codebase. - Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions to improve application performance and user experience. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Retail. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies. - Experience in leading application development projects. - In-depth knowledge of SAP modules and functionalities. - Hands-on experience in configuring and customizing SAP for Utilities Retail. - Experience in integrating SAP with other systems and applications. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP S/4HANA. - Experience in data migration and data conversion. - Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 development. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SAP applications. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Retail. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
