Major Accountabilities:

•  Create Effective/Efficient operational process within both Legal and ALJ as a whole Writing, reviewing, analyzing, modifying and negotiating a variety of complex commercial agreements and other contractual instruments.  

•  Contributing to the development and improvement of form agreements and templates to streamline processes and constantly improve efficiencies.  

•  Initiate or lead the development of innovative approaches to contracting requirements, obligations and exposures.  

•  Interpreting FCC (Fair Competition Code) requirements, contract requirements and obligations, and offering the strategy to achieve the business goal.  

•  Verifying compliance with relevant laws, regulations and FCC and analyzing the risks to set the clear legal guideline for business partners.  

• Educating business partners on key commercial, legal, corporate policy and other considerations.  

• Cooperating across departments to ensure optimal contract terms while minimizing risk. 

Ideal Background:

• At least 8 years' experience in private practice or in an internal legal department. 

• Medical Service sector experience or knowledge of Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act is preferred. 

• Experience of handling issues/creating a process in relation to Anti-monopoly Law is a plus.

• Japan Bar (Bengoshi Qualified) is MUST

• Japanese & English (Business level)
