Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks, and applying agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving and innovation to ensure that the software solutions are not only functional but also aligned with the strategic goals of the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Works with all relevant internal security, technical, incident management teams and the various lines of business to drive remediation of security issues. - Identify trends and potential problem sources (by reviewing Problems dealt by the team) - Develop interpersonal relationships within the team and interacting with and across departments or time-zones and working with external suppliers and partners. - Enthusiastic and committed to the work, willing to help others grow - Experience in providing technical oversight to other project team members to maintain engagement quality. - Maintain expertise on security trends through training, research and development in order to mitigate potential security exposures. - Maintains an inventory of problems under analysis and their current progress and status - Creates periodic reports on the problem management process and problem trending - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends and technologies. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Professional & Technical Skills: - Experience in Security Architecture (applications and & or Network) and processes in a typical enterprise - Knowledge on Information Security fundamentals, OWASP tools and methodologies - Any CEH certifications is a requirement - Knowledge of standard SDLC practices, understanding or various security touchpoints in SDLC - Knowledge of network attacks, post exploitation, security vulnerabilities rating frameworks such as CVSS/CVE etc. - Familiarity with application development across programming languages, such as C, C#, C++, Java, Python. - Understanding of modern IT technology stack e.g. Docker, Kubernetes etc. and cloud computing service models (SaaS, PaaS and IaaS) across Azure and AWS ecosystems. - Effective understanding and implementation Risk Management process - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cybersecurity Fundamentals. - Strong understanding of secure coding practices and principles. - Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies. - Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards. - Knowledge of network security protocols and practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity Fundamentals. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
