We are searching for the best talent for Administrative Coordinator.

Purpose: This position supports functional areas of Human Resources, such as recruitment and staffing, personnel records, Affirmative Action Plan, coordination of interviews and special projects, including community relations and employee activities. Performs duties involving employee communications and responding to questions regarding Global Services, HR Portal, Kronos, IRIS and other related system.

You will be responsible for:

  • Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: Works on special projects or requests assigned by HR Manager that are generally confidential in nature.
  • Coordinates trainings and orientations for employees regarding benefits aspects and HR Systems as needed.
  • Coordinates with Security the preparation of regular employee’s ID badges for Site access and Payroll punches.
  • Liaises with the Talent Acquisition Group in the recruiting process to fill open positions in the Site, assisting in the on-site interview coordination among other responsibilities.
  • Provides new hire orientation in HR aspects including coordination of benefits for regular employees and coordinate the regulatory trainings with the corresponding departments. Support site people leaders and employees in matters pertaining to Our Source.
  • Employee files maintenance, including disciplinary actions, New Hires packages, termination documentation and performance appraisals, among others.
  • Act as designated Human Resources Record Retention Coordinator.
  • Comply with all environmental, safety and occupational health policies (i.e., ISO14001 & OSHAS 18001.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or any Business Administration field is required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years hands on human resources generalist experience preferred or 4 years of administrative support experience.
  • Must be fully bilingual (English/Spanish, read, write and speak) is required.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret laws and/or government regulations is required
  • Ability to write reports and effectively present information and respond to questions from employees at all levels is required.
  • Interpersonal skills, communication skills, problem-solving skills, team oriented, negotiating skills, influencing skills is required.
  • Proficient computer knowledge, including programs such as Word, Excel and Power Point are a must.
  • Availability to work overtime, various work schedules, which may include 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts and/or 12-hour daily shifts, including weekends and holidays.
