Job Description:

Part-Time Security Guard

Location: Agsten Manor located in Charlotte, WV

Schedule: 4 Hours/Week

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Part-Time Security Guard to oversee the safety and security of our premises for 4 hours per week. The ideal candidate will ensure a secure environment by actively monitoring and patrolling the area, preventing theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access. This role requires alertness, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol the premises during assigned shifts, ensuring security protocols are followed.

• Inspect doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper security and that they are locked or secure.

• Respond to alarms or disturbances on-site, alerting authorities as needed.

• Observe and report any suspicious activities, unusual occurrences, or safety hazards.

• Provide customer service to visitors or employees, offering assistance when needed.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.

• Write incident reports for any security breaches or concerns encountered during shifts.

• Assist with emergency procedures, such as evacuations or lockdowns, if necessary.

• Communicate and collaborate with law enforcement, fire services, or emergency personnel as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Previous experience in security or related field preferred but not required.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.

• Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Physical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.

Schedule:

• 4 hours per week, with flexibility for shifts during weekdays.
