About This Job

Axos Invest is seeking a Financial Specialist who creates and develops relationships with clients within a specified territory. They introduce Axos Invest solutions, deepen relationships with clients and provide support for the client’s financial planning and investment needs. Clients may refer to a client in a B2C relationship with Axos Invest or an external Financial Advisor and their clients in a B2B relationship with Axos Invest. Financial Specialists understand the company’s responsible growth strategy, operations and compliance initiatives. Financial Specialist are focused on increasing assets and generating revenue to Axos Invest.

​Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the growth of clients, AUM, accounts, and revenue in a specified territory.

• Provides management, oversight, and training to their team member(s) in the Client Service Advocate role.

• Actively pursue each lead for the territory through a disciplined client introduction and engagement proces.

• Engage with clients using Axos Invest Financial Planning and Investing Lifecycle Investment Planning processes.

• Educate clients on Axos Invest investment solutions and platforms. Assist clients in evaluating their investment platform options to develop an overall investment plan. Assist the client in transferring assets and coordinating with Axos Portfolio Management Group on the implementation of the assets into the investment solutions designated.

• Provide continuous engagement with clients and prospects through disciplined call rotation policy and use of Client Service Advocate to identify new assets and/or opportunities for Invest.

• Actively engages with customer portfolio for growth, risk mitigation, referral opportunity and retention.

• Sales activity: direct calling, appointment setting, networking activities, outbound phone calls, e-mail, trade conferences, appropriate social media marketing, virtual client meetings.

• Is responsible to meet individual assigned sales goals of invest account and revenue generation.

• Is responsible to meet individual assigned sales goals of invest account and revenue generation.

• Is responsible to maintain active Series 7, Series 66 or Series 63 &65 licenses through continuing education requirements.

• Is responsible for maintaining knowledge, expertise, and skills related to the investment products and asset managers available in the platform.

• Is responsible for maintaining knowledge, expertise, and skills related to Invest planning and investment tools to assist with client analysis and proposal.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors

• 4-6 year's financial services experience; working knowledge of broker dealer and RIA functions, working knowledge Invest products (ETF, MF, 529, Financial Planning tools) with emphasis on Managed Accounts.  
• Strong sales, communication, consulting skills required.
• Experience acting as a financial consultant/advisor is preferred.
