The Business Solution Analyst is responsible for managing all aspects of the AuditComply platform for the FSQA department. Serve as a business liaison for internal and external database enhancements to support continuous improvement. Oversees documentation for Sysco QA Programs, including training compliance. Performs data analysis and generates reports and visualizations to help the FSQA team monitor supplier and Sysco Operating Site (OpSite) compliance and drive operational efficiency. Supports the Sysco QA Department by managing various projects using project management tools and methodologies. Provide assistance/information to Sysco Op Site Food Safety Program Managers, FSQA Management and suppliers as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sysco Administrator:
- Serve as the Sysco Administrator and Subject Matter Expert of AuditComply.
- Provides support to FSQA leadership to drive supplier compliance on Sysco Brand Supplier program components, including but not limited to generating reports, dashboards, and other visualizations such as Tableau, PowerBI and/or Smartsheet to drive results and efficiency.
- Responsible for overseeing projects, programs, and inquiries managed within AuditComply, as well as forecasting future developments within the platform
- Responsible for the annual Sysco Brand Supplier Billing process, including invoice creation, distribution to individual suppliers, responding to inquiries from suppliers and Sysco stakeholders, managing collections, billing tracking & reporting, and ensuring timely closure of billing activities.
- Responsible for ensuring seamless integration, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across all initiatives within AuditComply.
- Develop and execute communications internally and externally for database and compliance expectations. Analyze process performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs
- Document functional, technical, and reporting requirements
- Translate business needs into clear specifications for internal teams
- Provide assistance/information to OpSite stakeholders, Sysco Program Quality Managers, FSQA Management, customers and suppliers as needed.
Solution Design & Implementation:
• Develop and propose business solutions using data-driven insights
• Support the design and implementation of new systems or enhancements
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and user needs
Project Management Support:
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing projects
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and drive the completion of projects
Other Responsibilities:
- Support User and Supplier creation in Sysco QA Specification database
- Support Sysco product discrepancy/complaint handling process
- Support FDA Bioterrorism Bi-Annual Registration, Regulatory Visit Reporting, Quarterly Business Reporting, and other FSQA-related initiatives
- Complete any other essential job duties as directed by the supervisor. Other duties may be assigned
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Project Management Certification is preferred but not required.
Experience:
- 5+ years of database management experience required.
- 5+ years’ experience tracking, building and reporting on sensitive data in time-critical situations required.
- 5+ years MS Office (PowerPoint, Access, Lotus Notes, Outlook, Excel, Word), Database Management experience required.
Experience Preferred:
- Exposure to importing, exporting, and manipulating large data sets in multi-million-row databases under tight deadlines is highly preferred. Working knowledge of HACCP concepts, USDA, FDA & CFIA regulations a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
- Analytics - Must be able to think conceptually, strategically, and creatively with little oversight or direction; very comfortable working with ambiguity and translating it into clear logical designs.
- Exposure to working in Salesforce and AuditComply is highly preferred.
- Exposure and basic understanding of Finance and Accounting is highly preferred.
- Communication - Excellent written and oral communication skills with exceptional attention to detail Client /customer orientation with a focus on ensuring project cost, quality and time targets are achieved
- Able to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, partners, and colleagues
- Self-starter, motivated by the desire to have an impact, highly committed to exceeding expectations and continuous improvement, high energy level, strong personal work ethic.
