Project Manager Philips Innovation Campus Best

Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to contribute to the professional and future-ready operation of Philips Innovation Campus Best. As Project Manager within the Site Management Team, you will lead and coordinate projects and initiatives that support the campus, strengthen collaboration, and create value for internal and external stakeholders.

You will combine professional project management with strong stakeholder engagement, clear communication, practical organization, and a continuous improvement mindset. You are responsible for initiating, planning, managing, and delivering projects in a complex campus environment with multiple interests, dependencies, and decision-making levels.

An important part of the position is the preparation and coordination of local meetings and events, ranging from small stakeholder sessions to larger campus-related events. These may involve internal teams, management, business stakeholders, government representatives, public organizations, suppliers, and partner organizations. You are able to move effectively between project steering and hands-on execution when required.

You will also contribute to continuous improvement by translating lessons learned from projects and events into sustainable improvements in ways of working, processes, communication, and collaboration.

Due to the nature of the role and the intensive collaboration with stakeholders, physical presence on the Best Campus is required for a minimum of three days per week.

Your role:

This is a visible, varied, and impactful role within the Site Management Team of Philips Innovation Campus Best. You will contribute to a professional, well-connected, and continuously improving campus environment by combining project management excellence with practical organization and strong stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate brings structure, ownership, professionalism, and energy, and is motivated to make a meaningful contribution to the campus, the organization, and the wider stakeholder environment.

  • Lead and coordinate projects from initiation through delivery and closure, ensuring clear scope, planning, ownership, and follow-up.

  • Develop, manage, and monitor project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and decision points.

  • Prepare high-quality progress updates, decision documents, presentations, and management reports for relevant stakeholders.

  • Align effectively with internal stakeholders, including business representatives, management, subject matter experts, and support functions.

  • Collaborate professionally with external stakeholders, including governmental bodies, public organizations, suppliers, and partner organizations.

  • Prepare, organize, and coordinate local events and meetings from concept and planning to execution and follow-up.

  • Ensure transparent communication, stakeholder alignment, timely decision-making, and disciplined follow-up of agreed actions.

  • Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement, and proactively propose practical solutions.

  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement within projects, processes, communication, and collaboration across the campus environment.

You're the right fit if you have the following skills and experience:

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of proven project management experience, preferably in a complex corporate, campus, site management, or operational environment.

  • You have bachelor-level working and thinking ability.

  • You hold a project management certification, such as PRINCE2, IPMA, or PMI, or can demonstrate equivalent experience through relevant examples.

  • You have native-level Dutch language skills and a good command of English, both written and spoken.

  • You communicate clearly and professionally, with the ability to prepare written updates, presentations, stakeholder messages, and decision documents.

  • You have experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders at different organizational levels.

  • You have affinity with governmental organizations; experience working with public authorities is considered an advantage.

  • You have affinity with mobility-related topics, campus development, site operations, or facility-related environments.

  • You have experience with, or a clear interest in, continuous improvement.

  • You are organizationally sensitive, able to connect people, and comfortable operating in an environment with diverse interests and priorities.

  • Structured, results-oriented, and able to create clarity in complex situations.

  • Stakeholder-focused, environment-aware, and sensitive to organizational, political, and administrative dynamics.

  • Flexible and able to move effectively between strategic, tactical, and operational topics.

  • Proactive, independent, and confident in taking ownership and driving progress.

  • Strong planning, organization, coordination, and follow-up skills.

  • Clear and professional communicator with the ability to connect people and build trust.

  • Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn from every project, event, and stakeholder interaction.
