Job Description Summary

Sunbelt Rentals – the fastest growing rental business in Canada– is seeking an AZ Driver – You!

As a AZ Driver, you will deliver and recover a variety of equipment, tools, and propane to and from the customer worksite. This role will drive a flatbed or roll-back truck in a variety of conditions, including urban, suburban, and rural settings. The ability to drive safely in tight settings such as construction zones is required. Our double-digit growth and internal promotion rate mean we are constantly looking to add top performers to our team.

Responsibilities as a AZ Driver:

  • Deliver and recover equipment at the customer site
  • Securement of equipment on bed of truck or utility trailer.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting involving malfunctioning equipment at a job site and make minor repairs.
  • Learn and demonstrate Customer Service Standards for delivery service.
  • Perform daily commercial vehicle inspection, with completion of necessary repairs to vehicle to ensure operational safety.
  • Demonstration of proper and safe equipment usage to customer at point of delivery.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the manager or authorized personnel.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid AZ Driver’s license & safe driving record

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

  • Previous experience driving, loading, and unloading tools or equipment
  • Mechanical skills to troubleshoot issues on-site
  • Customer service focused attitude
  • Detail orientation to properly maintain records

Base Pay Range: $27.76 - 37.00
