Job Summary:
Micron's Facilities Team is seeking a Facilities Control Room Coordinator to oversee control room operations, ensuring efficient and safe operations of semiconductor manufacturing facilities. This role involves coordinating activities, managing staff, and maintaining optimal production conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor equipment, alarms, systems operations and maintain and update emergency contact information for key personnel.
  • Implement and enforce change management and safety protocols to ensure a secure, compliant, and high-quality operational environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate control room operators to ensure continuous monitoring and control of equipment, systems, and processes.
  • Lead responses to alarms, malfunctions, and operational issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.
  • Analyze and interpret operational data to ensure systems function within specified parameters and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between control room staff, maintenance teams, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment status, incidents, and maintenance activities, and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility operations, efficiency, and reliability.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of experience in a control room environment.
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or coordinating role in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.

Preferred:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in a control room environment.
  • 4+ years in a supervisory or coordinating role in semiconductor manufacturing.
