About the Job
At JLL, we are driving sustainability through everything that we do. We are building up our Sustainability practice, to drive our end-to-end sustainability solutions in real estate, including Client Solutions, Strategy Consulting, Performance & Design, and Operations.
This role is embedded in the Sustainability Consulting team, where you will work with our clients to help them think through their sustainability strategies, including what reporting they require and what certification they need. You will support green building consulting services, performing operational and embodied carbon assessment, review energy audits, deliver ESD advice and prepare green building certification submissions. Work in this career pathway typically require an engineering degree and/ or Architecture with energy and engineering orientation as you will be involved in providing engineering related sustainability consulting. The role requires a passion for sustainability and gives professional the opportunity to develop their careers as a Sustainability consultant. While based in Bangalore, the role will be integral to our regional sustainability team and delivering sustainability projects across the region.

Duties & responsibilities
What this job involves
This role aims to work with JLL’s global and local occupier, investor and base builder clients to deliver upon their Sustainability ambitions. This role is customer facing, executive facing, and team oriented. The role will be centred around the following key elements:
Consulting work
• Work closely with Sustainability Consulting team in Australia and perform gap assessments and facilitation work related to Greenstar/ LEED/ WELL or other Certification
• Preparation of LCA studies addressing embodied carbon, net zero strategic consulting work
• Support Sustainability Audits or other sustainability Activities
• Join client connections, pitches etc. to provide sustainability positioning and market differentiation
• Create a pool of case studies, client success stories, testimonials, research and sales material which can be used by the team.
Performance objectives
• Support Green Building and WELL certification projects
• Embodied carbon Assessments
• Decarbonisation & Net Zero pathway Assessments
• GHG Emission Reporting
• Get conversant with net zero and sustainability concepts
• Willingness to work across multi-countries & time zones
Background and Experience
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Architecture or built environment-related degree.
• 3-to-8-year experience in sustainability
• Preferably LEED Accredited professional and/or WELL AP, familiarity with any other regional/global certification, in particular Green Star, is a plus
• Experience planning and managing multi-stakeholder projects, including the ability to steer and coordinate internal stakeholders, develop engagement materials and plans, and ability to drive stakeholder meetings/processes to deliver results.
