The Job’s Mission:

As a Sales Representative, you will help us deliver on our mission of making healthcare better by promoting and selling Stryker’s Medical portfolio in the South West region of The Netherlands. Some of the main cities in your territory would be: Rotterdam, Den Haag, Dordrecht, Leiden, Middelburg, etc.

Stryker’s Medical division provides innovative technology to help simplify healthcare delivery with safety and efficiency. Our Emergency Care product portfolio includes Patient Transport (Power-LOAD, Power-PRO XT and Power-Pro II), Chest Compression System (LUCAS) and Defibrillator (LIFEPAK), designed to address critical issues affecting caregivers and patients. Stryker is a market leader in the development, manufacturing, sale and service of defibrillator/monitors and emergency medical response products – built for Emergency Care Professionals and designed to save lives. 

In this position, you will support with the acquisition of new customers and play an important role in maintaining customer satisfaction. Customers will be both pre-hospital entities/ambulance organizations and hospitals. Your key responsibilities:

  • In your new role, you will start with a familiarization phase with product trainings to learn about the product portfolio and develop relationships with key opinion leaders.

  • You will be developing and executing business plans to maximize sales. You will implement strategies in the sales process and conduct negotiations with pre-hospital and hospital entities including administration departments, purchasing units and C-suite.

  • With the product knowledge you have built up, you advise and train healthcare professionals on its use during demonstrations and workshops.

  • Further, you will prepare orders for interested customers and will also be a reliable partner for our customers during order follow-up to ensure a timely delivery date and thus a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • You will participate in congresses, seminars to meet potential new customers and to expand your knowledge for customer contact.

What are we looking for?

  • You already have gained 3+ years of successful sales experience, preferably within medical devices or related industries.

  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in Dutch and English is also required.

  • Preferably, you hold a diploma/degree in related fields such as healthcare, business administration, or technical career.

  • You hold a valid driver’s license as this position involves regular customer visits.
