Northrop Grumman has an opening for a Computer Systems Analyst in our Linthicum, MD site.
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards.
Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have, at minimum, a relevant Masters degree with 0 years of experience; OR a Bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant experience; OR an Associates degree with 4 years of relevant experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience
Must have an understanding of basic operating systems configuration requirements
Must have an understanding of software evaluation methods and practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience performing software evaluations to meet compliance with a governing standard (e.g., RMF, CMMC, etc.)
Current DoD Secret Security Clearance
Current DoD 8570 IAM level I (or higher) security certification (e.g., CND, Cloud+, Security+ CE)
Experience configuring operating systems in a virtual environment
Ability to work on a cross-functional team with team members spanning different time zones
