The client is one of the leading premier financial services firms in the financial industry and steadily providing comprehensive financial services including investment banking, sales & trading, research, real estate and investment management.

About the Role

As an Engineering Manager, contribute to overall profitability and growth through supporting:

  • Monthly management reports to the client regarding activity summary, performance level, energy data, PPM, innovation and incident
  • Provide all necessary financial data to assist the client in planning annual budgets
  • Assist to conduct the training including emergency situations to meet the client's requirements
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations on health and safety regulations
  • Update register of all maintenance contracts including contractors / vendors review and selection for new contracts and contracts renewal
  • Electrical and mechanical system operations management in Server room / closet, Trading floors, Office areas and plan room
  • Maintain and update all Operation & Manual and as-fitted drawing
  • Execute energy saving measures and other environmental measures
  • Cooperate to provide highest standards of building services
  • Define and to coordinate BCP action plan procedures and documentation for CS division. Assist to manage and to implement all BCP recovery procedures
  • Assist to assess and review all IT equipment Move, ADD and Change works prior to the works
  • Assist in testing and commissioning by attending the testing and commissioning of building service system
  • Maintain a register of all emergency call out incidents
  • Management and co-ordination of any client Data Infrastructure Sub-Contractors as required
  • Maintain all paper and electronic documents in line with the client filing structure guideline and conduct random quality checks

About You

  • 8 years’ experience in engineering operations, engineering design  or facilities management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or relevant education
  • Fluent Japanese and operational level of business English, spoken and written
  • Ability to see things from Client standpoint, listen, observe to anticipate client’s needs, work proactive
  • Desirable previous experiences regarding Bank, Data center, or critical environment management

Smoking Policy: No smoking on premises (designated smoking areas available)

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (hours may vary when working at client sites)
Flexible Work Hours: Core hours apply
Remote Work: On-site attendance required (Remote work requests require consultation)
Holidays: Two days off per week (Follows Japanese calendar)
Base Annual Salary: ¥10,000,000 - ¥13,000,000
(The above is an estimate only; the final amount will be determined after the interview based on skills and communication abilities)
Overtime Pay: Included. Fixed overtime pay (equivalent to 30 hours per month) is included in the base annual salary.
