Position Overview
Apollo is seeking an Analyst/Associate to join the expanding London-based Product Management team within the Client & Product Solutions group. This role will focus on regulated products for Global Wealth investors while providing exposure to Apollo’s diverse range of investment strategies and asset classes, including Private Equity, Credit and Real Assets.
As an Analyst/Associate, you will play a key role in assisting with the ongoing requirements of an existing suite of products, coordinating new product launches, preparing marketing materials, responding to investor inquiries and assisting with fund reporting. You will collaborate closely with the Sales team to service both existing and prospective investors, contribute to the growth of various product lines, manage active fundraise processes, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of product-related initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
Support New Product Launches: Assist with the launch of new products across EMEA, collaborating closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
Collaborate with Sales and Client Portfolio Management: Work with the global Sales team and other members of the Client & Product Solutions team to drive capital raising efforts from both existing and prospective investors.
Client Management: Deliver timely and thorough responses to due diligence questionnaires and client inquiries, ensuring an exceptional client experience and effective support for post-investment activities.
Market and Investor Intelligence: Prepare and facilitate board, portfolio performance and market updates, analysing the competitive landscape by asset class and region to inform product strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investment team, risk and compliance departments, operations, internal and external legal counsel, and marketing and distribution teams to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably within an alternative asset management firm, investment bank, private bank, or investment consulting firm.
Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of the alternative asset management marketplace, including Global Wealth products and competitive dynamics.
Product Knowledge: Previous experience with regulated or open-ended/semi-liquid products, demonstrating knowledge of their structures and reporting requirements.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and solutions in a clear and accessible manner.
Ability to prioritise and multi-task: Strong capacity to manage multiple deliverables, seamlessly transitioning between internal and external tasks as needed.
Personal Attributes: Personable, organised, proactive self-starter with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders across various locations and time zones.
