Job Title: Senior Solution Consultant

Location: AVEVA UK Office or Home-based

Employment Type: Full-time

The job

• Delivery of AVEVA IM solutions (analysis, design, configuration, testing, documentation across the whole delivery life cycle)

Key responsibilities

Key tasks are

• Definition of business, workflow and data requirements and data exchange interfaces
• Implicit Technical Lead role to direct other consultants to deliver the solution according to a detailed design
• Consultancy to customer to support the use of AVEVA IM solutions
• Support for bids and proposals for solution delivery projects
• Support for the development of AVEVA IM products

Essential requirements

Candidates should have

• At least five years experience of developing information management solutions for customers in an engineering context
• Experience of configuring solutions using a data definition language (XML)
• Experience of configuring solutions using an object-oriented programming language
• Experience of writing test cases to unit test level for the verification of data transformations in an engineering application
• Experience of writing technical specifications to describe how a solution is to be implemented and has been implemented

Desired skills

• Communication skills to interact with customers and AVEVA personnel across multiple disciplines
• Ability to lead other team members to execute technical tasks
• Desire to learn new technologies as AVEVA products are developed and extended (for example, Cloud, on premise, data mapping and validation tools)

Hybrid working
