The Opportunity
Provide Clinical support in the cath-lab for Abbott TMTI products to the physicians. The incumbent implements in agreement with the Divisional strategies and tactics to ensure market penetration and the establishment of new accounts.
The position is also responsible for the management of products returned from the hospital in accordance with the official Abbott procedure.
Ensure that all questions of a technical nature from the field or internal sources are answered in an expeditious manner and reported to the competent authorities within Abbott.
What You’ll Do
Provide Customers with continuous Abbott technology update aiming to deliver the highest value added in term of therapeutic solutions
Provide technical support to implants and follow ups
Build personal relationship with Customers providing adequate support to their scientific and technological needs
Act as main interface to implement specific education and clinical initiatives defined at Customer level
Liaise with Sales, Marketing, Bid & Tender office during bids preparation – technical specifications and support material
Maintain high level of administrative control in the implanting centres
Provide support to Sales and Clinical Department for any additional tasks and projects
Performs stand duty
Provide high level info on competitor’s products.
Perform training concerning the use of new products
Ensure all Abbott standing Procedures are followed.
Build, maintain and expand strong partnerships with cath lab community being perceived has a predictable and consistent interface from the Customer
Implement in agreement with the Division Manager SH strategies and tactics to ensure market penetration and the establishment of new accounts
Provide support to the Country Manager SH for any additional tasks and projects
Monitor sales target in agreement with the Country Manager SH
Be responsible for the monitoring and correct reporting of product incidents as per the official procedure
Interfacing with the local Quality department
Be responsible for the correct filing and quality archives of incident reporting
Provide response to customer complaints or product enquiries
Interfacing with physicians in the writing of clinical evaluation findings.
Produce monthly and/or weekly reports to the Country Manager SH on personal activities on both commercial and technical activities.
Travelling time 10-15%
Required Qualifications & Background
Education: Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent
Good English knowledge, both written and verbal
Extensive experience /comprehensive knowledge of the Medical Device Market
At least 3 years experience in similar activities
Natural abilities (team player, stress resistant, discretion, good communicator, etc.)
