Northrop Grumman is currently looking for an experienced Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer 4 with a background in C++. The Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer will work with our C++ based simulations of the missiles to verify weapon system requirements.
This position will be located on-site at our Northridge, CA location. There is no remote or telework for this role. Must have a current US Government DoW Secret security clearance.
The Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer 4 will assist in developing weapon systems requirements verifications, scenarios to verify those requirements, analyzing the results using MATLAB or python tools, and digging into the C++ source code of the simulation to track down reasons for apparent requirements failures (Actual issue with the system itself, the system software, or the model representation in C++). The Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer will also do extensive testing of the simulations themselves to verify their suitability for weapon systems requirements verification. Later tasks will vary between software-centric or analysis-centric responsibilities.

Primary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
