APAC Senior Lab IT Specialist, Roche Diagnostics Asia Pacific
The Opportunity:
Technical support for APAC affiliates across Roche navifyⓇ digital products
Conduct regional workshops and training
Support APAC affiliates with project implementation
Lead and drive Lab IT initiatives within APAC region
As APAC Senior Lab IT Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Collaborate with APAC affiliates, product marketing and Global Customer Support (GCS) of Roche Information Solution (RIS) and Roche Diagnostics Solution (RDS) to align and adopt digital strategies for APAC region
Advocate best practices among APAC Lab IT community
Lead in new feature / product implementation including alignment with APAC affiliates, product marketing and GCS RIS / GCS RDS
Identify, work on and propose continuous system and process improvements to enhance Lab IT service delivery for APAC region
Ensure escalated issues are properly handled and resolved
Be responsible for mentoring and conducting internal knowledge transfer among team members
Support in formulating sustainable APAC Lab IT support model align with RIS strategy
Based in Singapore and reports to APAC Lab IT Team Manager, Service & Support, Lab & C-Suite Value Stream
Who you are
Demonstrate strong team-spirit and ability to work independently to deliver tasks in a timely manner
Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English is a must
Ability to make decisions and implement necessary action plans
Accept challenges and be accountable to lead new projects / initiatives outside of routine responsibilities
Keen to learn and support teammates
Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time
Qualifications and Experiences
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Biomedical Science
At least 5-8 years of work experience in clinical diagnostics field (Medical Technologist or LIS administrator)
Relevant knowledge and experience in digital pathology and histology workflow integration is highly desirable
Expert in Laboratory Information System and diagnostics products integration
Equip with network topology, LINUX, SQL queries, data flow and interface engines (ASTM/HL7) expertise
Strong communication, facilitation and negotiation skills
Customer-centric and solution-oriented
