Summary of Position:
Tishman Speyer is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to join our Property Management team. This position reports to the Customer Account Manager and is responsible for financial and clerical services, to ensure efficiency and accuracy in applying customer receipts and processing billing charges.
The successful candidate will bring a hospitality mindset, have excellent communication skills and be a problem solver.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor current customer accounts for overdue balances, follow up with internal and external personnel via telephone, email and other measures for timely resolution of collection matters and billing disputes
Troubleshoot, and respond to internal and external inquiries through financial operations shared mailboxes or other established methods
Complete data entry and follow-up procedures to support a variety of accounts receivable and/or accounts payable transactions in accordance with established timeframes
Reconcile customer accounts and report discrepancies to the General Manager
Perform review of aged delinquencies to ensure accounts receivable balances display an accurate picture of customer receivables
Performs miscellaneous office and administrative duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
2 - 4 years of progressive accounts receivables or accounting experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting required
Basic knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products)
Must be fluent in English
D365 Knowledge is preferred but not required

*Due to the nature of responsibilities this role requires an on-site presence and candidate must be willing to commute and work at other properties.
The base compensation range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, as well as access to our comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan (with matching contributions), wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to full-time Tishman Speyer employees.
This base range reflects a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skill sets, and/or licensure required of an individual in this particular role. The base range is also specific to members of Tishman Speyer’s New York team, as we’ve considered factors specific to this geography.
