Job Summary:

As a Manager, Sales Service you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Sales Operations team at Shanghai Disney Resort, with a focus on assisting and guiding the Sales Operations team to play a key role in internal and external communications, driving innovation, technology enablement, and Sales implementation of Shanghai Disney Resort's product offerings in target markets.

Your responsibilities include developing a deep understanding and familiarity with operations related processes in order to provide critical support to the entire Sales team's operations efforts. You need to familiarize yourself with the trade partner's sales platform (including MTDP, Ctrip, Fliggy, etc.) and operation system, and guide and lead the team to provide support for the Sales team's system and related projects, as well as other system projects of the company.

You are able to make suggestions and comments to the various Sales teams. You will be involved in the technical solutions and various projects, working closely with the digital product team, technical team and operation team for relevant discussions to ensure that the technical solutions are closely aligned with the market needs. At the same time, you need to assist and guide the Sales team to manage the sales department's contract filing as well as the annual document management project, and optimize the process and complete internal audits to reach the company's compliance requirements. You will also lead the team in initiating new contracts, renewals and sales discounts from third party channels and participate in discussions and development of various operational programs, playing a central role in cross-functional communication.

With strong sales drive and market acumen, you must provide insights on current and potential opportunities, challenges and market trends in Shanghai, China and international markets to drive innovation and implementation of Shanghai Disney Resort's marketing strategies to achieve annual business goals.

You will also be responsible for all product-related projects, as well as assisting and guiding the Sales team to continuously optimize sales processes and improve guest satisfaction in order to achieve the annual business goals of Shanghai Disney Resort, as well as the long-term development goals in digital transformation and travel industry partnership management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You need to be aware of market trends and consumer behavior to help drive Disney product innovation;
  • You will be familiar with all trade partners, flagship store and business solutions and campaign systems in order to get the relevant products off the ground;
  • You will be involved in technical discussions with the digital product team, technical team and operations team to drive the various technical solution projects to fruition;
  • You will be responsible for assisting and guiding the Sales team in the management of contract filing for the sales department as well as the annual document management program;
  • In order to meet the company's compliance requirements, you will be required to assist and guide the Sales team in optimizing processes and completing internal audits;
  • You will be required to assist and guide the Sales team in initiating contract new signings, renewals and sales discount programs from third party channels;
  • You will assist and guide the Sales team to participate in various operational discussions and program development, and play a central role in cross-functional communication.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in sales or sales support and at least 5 years of people management experience;
  • Strong commercial, project planning, budget management, presentation, leadership and team management skills;
  • Set objectives, monitor, review and initiate action plans to achieve target KPIs;
  • Develop standard operating procedures and performance metrics to enable the team to fulfill commitments to trade partners and achieve superior guest satisfaction;
  • Design and standardize the sales implementation process and localize, brand and characterize the sales process;
  • Drive revenue growth and asset retention by monitoring, analyzing and reporting on budgets and expenses;
  • Directing sales strategy, pioneering and developing the brand, including implementing short-term business development programs to achieve long-term growth;
  • Developing and implementing corporate sales programs and service agreements to acquire and retain guests;
  • You will need to have excellent analytical skills, be adept at collecting and interpreting complex data, cultivate interpersonal relationships with guests to enhance guest engagement and experience, and determine the most effective sales strategies;
  • You'll have excellent communication skills, you'll work with colleagues and trade partners, acting as the primary liaison between trade partners and senior management of the company to increase guest satisfaction;
  • You will have excellent leadership skills and you will be able to assess the performance of sales staff and third party channels and develop strategies to achieve sales targets;
  • You will need to demonstrate teamwork and have a strong willingness and ability to build collaborative relationships with others or organizations;
  • You will need to be detail and quality oriented and have a strong ability to learn;
  • You need to have a Bachelor's degree or above;               
  • You need to have good oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
