Western Express, Inc is recruiting for a Parts Manager to join our Maintenance team. Experience as as Parts Associate is preferred, any TMT experience is preferred.

Western Express is an asset-based trucking company headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee with terminals and facilities located across the United States. We offer competitive benefits package, excellent pay, fun environment, and opportunity for growth within the company. This is a full-time position scheduled 50 hours weekly.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage inventory for the Service Center
• Responsible for using reporting to keep inventory levels sufficient for repairs needed, ordering and receiving parts, keeping accurate accounting for all inventory received and distributed
• Manage day-to-day duties and performance of parts associates

Experience

• Experience required in Parts/Inventory Management
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, any experience with TMT and Synergize is a plus
• Ability to manage others, setting goals and expectations and then managing to those goals/expectations

Performance Measurements

• Weekly cycle counts performed and accurate
• Monthly/quarterly Inventory audits resulting in less than 2.5% parts adjusted and 1.5% parts value adjusted
