As a Tier 1 IT Support Technician, you’ll be the critical first line of defense, providing essential desktop support to our end users. Whether it's over the phone, through email, chat, or in person, you’ll be the go-to expert, helping to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support by diagnosing hardware and software issues, resolving login problems, and assisting with password resets.

  • Log and monitor all service requests through the company’s ticketing system, ensuring precise and timely documentation of incidents.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to Tier 2 or higher-level support following established escalation protocols.

  • Guide users through basic troubleshooting steps and provide clear instructions on effectively using IT resources.

  • Assist in the setup and configuration of new devices and equipment.

  • Document new solutions and procedures not currently included in the knowledge base.

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, phone, and customer service skills.

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of computer software, hardware, networking, and related applications.

  • Willingness to work after-hours or weekends with advance notice

Qualifications:

  • Perform office duties involving computer use.

  • Ability to use common tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers.

  • Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels, from quiet to moderate.

  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of net
