Job Description:

1.     Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Accountable for local E2E product flow and performance in alignment with Global Functions (EPL, VCL, TLI, RD&S, CSC), Local Quality Owner and Operations

  • Point of Contact for Demand Management and other partners as the need arises

  • Responsible for capacity scenario analysis and reporting for Schaffhausen portfolio to support E2E decision

  • Responsible Site Planning representative for tech transfer and launch activities of new products partnering with various global and site functions

  • Lead SRM preparation and reporting for Schaffhausen site

  • Shaping and continuous improvement of processes

2.     Main Duties / Additional Duties / Sphere of Authority

  • Own product specific planning KPI’s

  • Local product specific interface/single point of contact for Global Functions regarding tactical/operational topics

  • Ensure Monthly MPC with EPL and support financial BP process

  • Single point of contact for upstream plants in the supply chain

  • Optimization of production schedules according to customer demand and available capacity (incl. scenario planning)

  • Design planning relevant set-up of new products during different product life cycles (clinical, PPQs, commercial launch)

  • On-time launch of new product owing key activities within area of responsibility

  • Guarantee optimal customer service and address potential future supply constraints

  • Internal coordination within other Planning functions for the detailed and master schedule - particularly in case of different products running on the same line

  • Support of timely release in collaboration with Local Quality Owner

  • Identifies issue and owns follow-ups on escalated items that may impact supply with the EPL function and other functions (STEM 2, Criticalities, Quality)

  • Own product- and asset-specific Master Production Schedule (generation, analysis, follow-up)

  • Ad hoc participation in Global VCL Team meetings & product specific representation of the site

  • Own local Value Stream Map of products in responsibility

  • Identify cost improvement and lean opportunities

  • Keep overview on product specific site projects beyond tactical supply

  • E2E configuration; collaboration with EPL to define and maintain local E2E planning parameters

  • Makes and coordinates simulations and issue resolution recommendations for the SRM on asset/product level for the products under responsibility

  • Compliance with the GxP, Safety and SOX requirements and guidelines, which are connected to the respective function

 

3. Qualifications

Education 

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required - Master's degree is preferred.

APICS and Supply Chain certification is prefered.

 

Experience

5+ years of related experience in MFG and/or Logistics/supply chain - preferably within the pharma industry.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities  

  • Profound understanding of Supply Chain Management and network flows

  • Ability to act as change agent/leader

  • Collaborates effectively to achieve performance improvement

  • Extended knowledge of SAP is highly preferable

  • Extended knowledge of OMP is highly preferable

  • Establish effective communications

  • High analytical and quantitative skills

  • Ability to handle multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and a sense of urgency is required

  • Ability to partner; look for collaboration with people from different departments, diverse backgrounds and maturity levels

  • High resilience

  • Capabilities to navigate and lead initiatives in a complex environment
