Now for the Italian plant located in Luzzara (RE) we are now looking for a Sales Engineer – Customized Solutions

Main Purpose of the Role

•    Manage, understand and analyze CO requests from the sales network.
•    Conduct feasibility analyses and cost studies for customized solution to create detailed commercial offers and technical documentation to drive the development of the project.
•    Conduct  pre-developments study (when required). 
    This duty includes: mechanical calculations, checking the conformity to current Norms, assessing risks, use of 3D models, consultation of technical drawings, interaction with other Departments and the evaluation of the development efforts and the material costs.
•    Collaborate with sales and product management teams to understand customer/market needs 
•    Support Sales with customized and dedicated solutions
•    Draft and maintain technical/commercial documentation related to customized offers
•    Maintain the tool dedicated to the CO offers
•    Sales support as product specialist

Scope of the role 

Job holder reports directly to the CO Offers Team Leader and indirectly to the team-leader of the Customized solution for warehouse trucks).

Interactions with the following KION departments required:


-    Order Processing Department
-    CTO Product Development (R&D)
-    CTO Module & Component Development (R&D)
-    Industrial engineering dept.
-    CO Procurement
-    Still / Linde Sales

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Skills Required:

Essential


•    Knowledge of Applied Mechanics and machine design
•    Knowledge and understanding of the industrial technical drawing.
•    Fluent spoken and written English (B2 or superior)
•    Use of CAD 3D (best if NX)
•    Use of Excel / Office
•    High motivation and curiosity.

Desirable


•    Design and modelling abilities 
•    Electrical basic knowledge
•    Basic Knowledge of SAP

Qualifications/Experience Required

Essential

  • Diploma ITIS or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent

  • Previous short working experiences or stages in Technical Departments (R&D)
