The Sky Dining Manager is responsible for enhancing the operational efficiency of their designated country station. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant operations while overseeing and coordinating activities across multiple units within the cluster. The Sky Dining Manager drives business growth, operational excellence, and team performance, maintaining high service standards and adherence to company policies and applicable laws. Additionally, the role focuses on improving operational procedures, systems, and processes, optimizing information flow and management, enhancing reporting capabilities, and identifying opportunities to expand or strengthen systems.
- Maintain constant communication with the Country Station Manager, management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization.
- To develop short- and long-term goals and strategies in collaboration with the Country Station Manager and ensure implementation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety and quality assurance protocols.
- Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity.
- Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives including organization profitably, new business development and portfolio of goods produced.
- Responsible for the monthly P&L of the airport dining and operations, ensuring revenue targets are met, costs are controlled, and overall profitability is achieved.
- To analyze operating costs and sales reports every month from data in the monthly accounts to determine strategy for controlling costs, reducing wastage and improving productivity.
- Ensure all operational activities within the station are completed on time and within the allocated budget.
- Lead, motivate and support a team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setup and implementation of career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution.
- Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
- Partner with cross-functional support teams in improving the proprietary tools and systems.
- Conduct budget reviews for the station and report cost plans, forecasts, and recommendations to upper management.

REPORTS TO Country Station Manager
- Serve as primary point of contact when there is customer issues related to equipment quality, customer service, or accidents and mishaps on-site.
- Assist the HR Lead in tracking staffing requirements and supporting recruitment processes to ensure units are adequately staffed.
- Support the implementation and adherence to HR systems and company policies across the cluster.
- Maintain and enhance business acumen through professional development, networking, and staying updated on industry trends.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS TO BE PERFORMED AS NEEDED
- Oversee materials and inventory management related to all catering solutions, airport dining and sky dining.
- Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment.
- Track vendor pricing, rebates and service levels.
- Lead in servicing sky dining clients, including private charters, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with standards.
- Monitor vendor pricing, rebates, and service levels to optimize procurement and maintain operational efficiency.
- Communicate operating policies and departmental issues during meetings to ensure team alignment, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Food Safety, HACCP, or Catering Management are highly desirable. · 8+ years of proven experience in an operations management position and Airline, Airline Catering, Industrial Catering, Food Service Management, Hospitality Management, Airline Ground Operations industry preferred ·

- Understanding of hygiene, safety, and legal regulations.
- Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) etc.
- Able to communicate in English orally and in writing.
