As a Safety Data Acquisition & Partnering Specialist, you will join our Patient Safety Operations team to build and secure the vital "Front-End" pillar of our safety data network. In this role, you will support strategic partnerships and ensure compliance, directly impacting our ability to deliver safe, life-changing innovations to patients worldwide. We strive for operational excellence as we deliver and oversee implementation activities of Safety agreements and monitor compliance.

This position offers you a unique opportunity to grow your expertise across two key operational areas: Data Acquisition implementation or Safety Agreement management. Working within a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment, you will solve moderately complex operational challenges, collaborate with international stakeholders, and directly contribute to the smooth delivery of our global Patient Safety strategy.

  • Manage safety agreements: Support global business process owners in developing, maintaining, and overseeing compliance for safety agreement templates.

  • Monitor business performance: Provide expertise to develop and implement metrics, KPIs, and performance measures to track incoming data trends.

  • Support mergers & acquisitions: Facilitate the efficient, compliant transfer of safety data and documentation during product and company acquisitions.

  • Collaborate with suppliers: Proactively partner with internal and external suppliers, providing pharmacovigilance (PV) guidance to ensure absolute alignment.

  • Implement data collection: Support the scoping of new data sources and implement innovative methods to collect safety data within an evolving strategy.

  • Ensure audit readiness: Perform quality assurance activities related to safety agreement implementation to support inspections and audits.

  • Drive operational excellence: Apply Roche ways of working to daily tasks, collaborate with matrix teams, and support the Quality Management System.

You are an analytical, relationship-oriented professional who thrives in a process-focused environment and loves solving complex puzzles. You are looking for a place where you can expand your expertise, take ownership of meaningful tasks, and collaborate with diverse global teams in an inclusive and supportive environment.

  • Regulatory & PV knowledge: A solid understanding of the drug development process, PV systems, and GVP/GCP regulations, experience in PV Agreements and/or Safety Data Exchange Agreements.

  • Strong communication & influencing skills: Well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across all levels without direct authority.

  • Matrix collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively within global, cross-functional, or virtual team structures.

  • Problem-solving mindset: Creative problem-solving abilities combined with excellent conflict resolution skills.
