Minimum Requirements:
2 years of utilities plant operating experience in the oil and gas, power plant or pulp and paper industry.
4th Class Power Engineering Certificate.
A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Key Accountabilities:
Follow all operating processes and procedures during operations to ensure the safety of our people, equipment, and the environment.
Prepare and complete daily area logs and communicate significant changes and findings in a timely manner.
Ensure timely action and process adjustments during plant upsets that are consistent with operational objectives and target outputs.
Prepare equipment and systems for maintenance and commissioning.
Location & other key details
You will work out of our Fort Hills Plant in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
The shift schedule is a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation (7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 nights off; 12-hour shifts)
You will be on a Fly-In-Fly-Out Rotation from one of the approved hubs of Edmonton or Calgary or a Bus-In-Bus-Out of Fort McMurray.
