As a summer associate, you will assist the GPSD team in a variety of ways to help support the design and development of Capital’s product roadmaps. You will partner with more experienced analysts and specialists in conducting quantitative and qualitative research related to product design activities. This includes industry scans, competitor analysis and marketplace flows.

As a GPSD Summer Associate, you will perform one or more of the following tasks:

  • Long-Term Strategy Development

    • Gathers research and data required to develop long-term strategy and roadmaps

    • Supports the development and rollout of new capabilities

  • Product Development

    • Supports Product Leads in the creation, analysis and development of product plans and business cases

    • Serves as a resource in developing launch plans

  • Initiative/Project Management

    • Supports projects impacting a product line

    • Works closely with manager and senior specialists

    • Requires day-to-day guidance

  • Product Knowledge

    • Learning CG products and services

    • Awareness of competitive landscape and trends

  • Stakeholder Management

    • Serves as a resource to various internal groups

  • External Industry Interaction

    • Learning the industry

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, in junior standing, graduating in 2026

  • You have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

  • You have effective written and oral communication skills with team members and managers.

  • You have the ability to identify, assess, respond to, and escalate risks or potential risks encountered through day-to-day activities.

  • You demonstrate intellectual curiosity and analytical skills in areas of moderate complexity.

  • You collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.

  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize assigned work and complete in a timely manner.

  • Excel and PowerPoint proficiency (e.g. advanced formulas and functions, pivot tables and complex charts) and desire to continuously grow skills

Base Hourly Rate: $30.50 / hour

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
