The ‘CEO’ of your experience: defining and communicating the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Best Offer and Auction communications portfolio.
Build the roadmap in close collaboration with leadership and other stakeholders.
Execute the roadmap by working with engineering, data science and design teams. Build MVPs, iterate fast and be the champion of execution excellence.
Deep knowledge of eBay and its products with domain expertise in the marketing channels of Push Notifications and Email.
Writing requirements and communicating them to the Engineering teams
Conducting AB tests: hypothesis building, test design, KPI definition
Working with analytics teams to measure the impact on success metrics
Collaborating with creative team to enhance content and design
Gathering and analyzing customer and user feedback to improve the product.
Prioritizing features and work items based on business value, user needs, and other criteria.
Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
Facilitating communication and collaboration between the development team and other stakeholders.
Tracking and reporting on your experience performance and key metrics.
Continuously improving the roadmap and development processes.
10+ years of strong product / business / marketing experience with at least 5 years in ecommerce. Marketplace experience is strongly preferred.
Technical Product Management experience or comparable experience working directly with Engineering teams (both front-end and back-end); technical understanding of building products / communications from scratch.
Relentless execution - ability to ship quality experiences in a fast paced and iterative manner.
Experience in developing email and native app notifications in ecommerce
Experience navigating highly complex cross-functional projects end-to-end.
Strong experience owner sense - ability to understand consumer needs and find simple and creative ways to solve them.
Metrics driven - ability to build actionable metrics which can measure experience performance.
Builds strong relationships across various teams within eBay; an active listener and clear communicator; can lead by influencing.
