Job Details:

6:30 a.m. – end of production or upon completion of assigned work. Monday-Friday, some overtime and weekend work required.

Pay: $17.60/hr

External Requirement: Must have 6 months work history. 3-months operator experience preferred.

Rehire Consideration: Maximum of two previous Tyson Employments and 90 days (3 months) waiting period to be considered for hire.

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for unloading trailers, scanning, weighing, and labeling all products coming in and out of the receiving cooler, in addition to transporting the combos to the staging dumper area. Ensures inventory is 100% accurate throughout the production day. In addition, this position will act as backup for the Shag truck driver when needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Scan incoming combos of product

· Weigh combos

· Communicate with Leadership about combo/trailer movement

· Ensure inventory is 100% accurate throughout the production day

· Keep the area clean

· Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to being a backup to the shag truck driver as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality

· Ability to obtain pallet jacket & forklift certification

· Ability to learn to drive a shag truck

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Detail oriented

· Ability to work independently and multi-task

· Must have valid driver’s license

· Basic computer skills

· Ability to wear, use and maintain personal protective equipment

· Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures

Education and/or Experience:

· High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

· 6 months of production experience preferred

· Experience driving shag truck preferred

Communication Skills:

· Ability to communicate effectively

· Ability to read the labels with product name and number

Physical Requirements / Environment:

· Stand/Walk: Frequently

· Lift/Carry: Frequently (up to 30 lbs.)

· Push/Pull: Frequently (5 to 15 lbs.)

· Grasp: Frequently (scanner)

· Physical Environment: Continuously: Working around moving machinery, working in a damp, slippery and cold environment (Below 40° F)
