Job Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overall 5+ years of IT experience that includes 3+ Years IT/Cloud FinOps experience and 3 years of AWS experience, Azure preferred.
  • This role's primary responsibility is to ensure that every dollar spent on cloud services contributes to business value. 
    This involves: Monitoring, reporting, optimizing cloud costs: To prevent overspending and drive efficiency.
  • Helping enterprises plan, calculate, and forecast cost requirements for cloud services consumption.
  • Establishing a FinOps Decision & Accountability Structure: To capture an organization's FinOps-related roles, responsibilities, and activities 
    Supporting in finops governance setup: To manage costs effectively and measure how close they are to financial objectives.
  • Driving cost-optimization: By being technically strong and familiar with public clouds like AWS and Azure.
  • Communicating effectively: Across personas at multiple levels of the organizational staff.
  • Providing consistent visibility into cloud spend: To all levels of the organization. Develop and maintain the FinOps process, integrating it with cloud provisioning, usage, and billing processes.
  • Lead the adoption of FinOps best practices and tools to streamline cloud financial operations.
  • Conduct training sessions to raise awareness and drive adoption of cloud financial practices across the organization.
  • Certifications - AWS, Azure Fundamentals.
