Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using Scala. Your typical day will involve working with the development team, analyzing business requirements, and developing scalable and efficient applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications using Scala. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals. - Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, and adherence to coding standards. - Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions to production issues. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scala. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language). - Strong understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures. - Experience with web application development frameworks such as Play Framework or Akka HTTP. - Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Scala. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering scalable and efficient applications. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
