Your Role and Responsibilities

You will play a key part in supporting the organization through structured market, cost, and competitor analyses, contributing directly to the development of the product roadmap and to the optimization of our medium-voltage product portfolio.
For our Distribution Solutions Division, located in Dalmine (Bergamo), we are looking for a Product Specialist to join the Product Management Team in the Grid Components Local Business Line.

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

  • Performing detailed cost analyses, supporting product managers in evaluating product cost structures, margins, and profitability improvement opportunities.

  • Identifying product gaps and benchmarking competitors, analyzing portfolios, technical features, pricing strategies, and market trends to support strategic decision-making.

  • Contributing to the definition and updates of the product roadmap, providing data-driven insights on market evolution, customer needs, regulatory trends, and competitive positioning.

  • Supporting product life cycle activities (development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and phase-out), ensuring coherency with roadmap priorities and market requirements.

  • Preparing business cases and technical/market inputs for new product development projects, collaborating with Global Product Management, R&D, Engineering, Marketing & Sales.

  • Monitoring key industry regulations and standards to anticipate impacts on the portfolio and propose adaptation or innovation initiatives.

  • Supporting internal teams and customers by providing product knowledge, addressing technical-commercial inquiries, and contributing to solution value propositions.

  • Supporting Marketing and Sales providing with competitor analysis and providing the correct value proposition for the assigned products.

  • Delivering training sessions to internal and external stakeholders on new products, features, and portfolio updates.

Qualifications for the Role

  • Degree in Electrical, Energy, or Industrial Engineering (or similar technical field).

  • 2-5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Cost Analysis or comparable technical‑commercial roles, preferably in electrification business.

  • Strong analytical mindset, with familiarity in cost evaluation, market analysis and competitor benchmarking.

  • Good command of Office 365 (Excel in particular); experience with SAP or Power BI is a plus.

  • Collaborative approach, with good communication and problem‑solving skills.

  • Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken.
