The Credit Risk Analyst I is a trainee professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based.

The goal to support the analysts in processing operational tasks required for periodic monitoring activities. The individual will work with the rest of the LFU team to create a best-in-class Leveraged Lending Underwriting organization with the primary goal of materially enhancing Citi’s end-to-end Leveraged Lending credit management process.

The Individual will be responsible to work with the LFU analyst to perform administrative tasks of the monitoring process across the portfolio

Responsibilities:

  • The individual will be responsible for running DRM & scorecard on Citi Risk
  • Source from internal systems and update facility and exposure details in memos
  • Update collateral values and relevant information to generate collateral valuation/scorecard
  • Creating and linking relevant workflows for approval of risk rating and periodic monitoring
  • Requesting information from various teams for updating relationship information
  • Track financials and source relevant financial documents from deal sites/Company websites
  • Complete LGD documentation
  • Downloading documents from internal system (Confluence) and answering objective questionnaire
  • Sourcing info from internal system to calculate the stress loss in excel templates
  • Update Public Private Risk Mitigation Factors, Investment Securities and DSFT Overview using information sourced from internal systems/banking teams
  • Update list of Bank borrowers for revolvers
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to


Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills with ability and willingness to work under pressure and manages time and priorities effectively
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality with attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Team player with strong work ethic who also works well with others at all levels
  • Understanding of accounting rules and standards for financial reporting


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
