Job Description

EBAD seeks a Test Technician, reporting to the Environmental Test Services Lead. This is a First shift position located in Moorpark, CA.

Responsibilities

The Test Technician position supports testing of energetics and environmental testing of both development and production products.  Duties include:

• Test evaluation, set-up and performance
• Equipment preventive maintenance and calibration
• Test data plotting and reporting
• Equipment troubleshooting and repair

Primary responsibility will be evaluation, set-up and performance of climatic and ballistics testing.  Testing will be performed in accordance with written procedures, MIL-STD’s and industry specifications.  Test data will be generated to support customer requirements.  Occasional heavy lifting, travel and overtime may be required.

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma (Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred).

Candidates must be able to work independently and interface with individuals at multiple levels in the organization.  Strong mechanical aptitude, problem solving and communication skills are required.  Candidates must be able to interpret and execute test requirements provided in written specifications.  Knowledge of explosive materials and/or ordnance devices is beneficial. Experience working in an aerospace industry is preferred.  The ideal candidate will have experience in a test lab environment with exposure to the following areas:

Compensation:   Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
