In service of this goal, we have a high visibility, high impact product management role in Affiliate Tracking and Attribution to lead the evolution of the suite of services powering Rakuten Rewards’ core Cash-back value proposition. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Operations, Data, Finance, Sales, and Marketing, as well as external advertising and affiliate network partners, to continuously evolve our market-leading rewards attribution platform.

Join our team as a Senior Product Manager of Reward Attribution, reporting to the Group Product Manager of Tracking and Attribution, to shape the product direction of the engine powering Rakuten Rewards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Captain strategic direction for the Reward Attribution team by negotiating approaches with cross-functional partners to provide the best Cash-back Shopping experience for Rakuten members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify serviceable opportunities, shape requirements and collaborate in designing technical solutions that continuously improve the reward attribution platform and the product experiences dependent on it
  • Craft the Reward Attribution roadmap, aligning with organizational product goals and prioritizing product development based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to create efficiencies through automation, tooling and best practices frameworks
  • Partner and liaise with affiliate network and advertising partners to continuously improve systems integrations and processes

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex cross-functional projects to deliver high-quality product outcomes in an efficient, collaborative manner
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytic skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with software development and Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
  • Comfortably self-reliant in performing analysis with SQL to drive data informed decisions.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS        

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. MBA or MS in computer science, engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or equivalent, with a focus on integrated backend systems, data processing, or related areas.
  • Working knowledge of Java, Groovy, iOS & Android development is a plus.
  • Prior experience in Affiliate, Loyalty and Cash-back, is a plus
