Our dedicated caregivers are well trained to meet the needs of our Innovations Business Development & Licensing Interns. Students should have at least a year of time remaining in their program and the ability to spend 10-20 hours a week on average working with Innovations over that period. This position would allow students to work up to full time during breaks and part time during the school year, averaging 10-20 hours a week.
A caregiver in this position works 8:30AM – 4:00PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Research, compile, tabulate, and analyze data and processes for a variety of administrative and departmental matters.
Assist department personnel in assigned administrative, planning, organizational, technical, and professional tasks.
Provide suggestions or recommendations with regard to department specific projects.
Prepare and present reports, draft policies and procedures and respond to requests for information.
Assist in tracking inbound investment or partnership opportunities from external partners.
Build presentations for internal initiatives, portfolio companies, and investment decisions.
Assist with conducting diligence on potential investment opportunities
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modelling of pro forma capitalization tables for portfolio companies and investment opportunities.
Map processes and identify areas to streamline existing operations.
Provide ad hoc support to portfolio companies on strategy, finances, and market research.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Current college enrollment.
Ability to discuss and weigh pros and cons, separate critical issues, make definitive choices, express opinions on issues and explain logical path decisions.
