As a Strategic Account Manager BELUX in Alcon’s Vision Care division, you play a crucial central role in expanding market share and strengthening customer loyalty.

You implement innovative “value-added” services that promote customer loyalty and drive digital solutions and sales activities.

By collaborating with top-potential customers, you implement growth measures and enhance the performance of contact lens fittings with our leading customers.
Working in close partnership with the Business Development Managers and the Professional Education Team, you play a pivotal role in strategic up selling to eye care professionals throughout Belgium and Luxembourg.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Consultation and customer engagement: Close collaboration with decision-makers, ECPs, and store teams to achieve jointly agreed goals.
  • Introduction of digital platforms: Implementing Alcon’s digital solutions for customer acquisition and retention, especially in the subscription systems area.
  • Planning and conducting training and fitting events: Supporting and improving the end consumer purchasing experience.
  • Maximizing the visibility of Alcon products: Through POS materials and merchandising initiatives.
  • Collaboration with the Business Development Manager and other departments: Developing and implementing a first-class business support model.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Experience: Over 5 years in sales, knowledge of optical retail is a big plus.
  • Languages: Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Customer Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business growth.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Sales Performance: Drive sales performance through effective account management and customer engagement strategies.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
