Job Summary
Join Synechron as a LoanIQ Developer and become a vital part of our financial technology team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in LoanIQ configuration, customization, and integration to deliver innovative loan processing solutions. Your contribution will support our clients’ business objectives by enhancing loan management workflows, optimizing system performance, and ensuring seamless system integrations. You will have the opportunity to lead technical initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvements within the LoanIQ ecosystem.

Software Requirements

  • Required Skills:

    • LoanIQ SDK and APIs (5+ years of hands-on experience)
    • Java programming (proficient)
    • SQL and database management systems (advanced proficiency)
    • Experience with ERP and CRM system integrations
  • Preferred Skills:

    • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
    • Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN)
    • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting)

Overall Responsibilities

  • Customize and configure LoanIQ to align with dynamic business needs and requirements
  • Develop, test, and maintain integrations between LoanIQ and external systems (ERP, CRM)
  • Collaborate proactively with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
  • Provide ongoing operational support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system-related problems efficiently
  • Lead and mentor a core LoanIQ technical team, fostering best practices and technical excellence
  • Document system changes, configurations, and development processes clearly and comprehensively
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and internal policies
  • Contribute to strategic planning for loan systems enhancements and upgrades

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in LoanIQ development and implementation
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing or mentoring technical teams for 5+ years
  • Proven experience in loan processing, syndication, and servicing workflows
  • Domain expertise in financial services, specifically within commercial loans or syndications
  • Prior experience in developing integrations across ERP and CRM platforms is preferred
  • Alternative pathways include relevant extensive experience in financial software development or related loan management systems

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Analyze and interpret business requirements to inform system configurations and customizations
  • Develop technical solutions, including system interfaces and enhancements, ensuring quality and performance standards
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to validate solutions
  • Monitor system performance, investigate anomalies, and implement corrective actions
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve production issues swiftly to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with business teams, project managers, and stakeholders on project planning and delivery
  • Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for team members and stakeholders
  • Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 5+ years’ experience in LoanIQ development, configuration, or implementation roles
  • Proven expertise in Java programming and API integrations
  • Strong SQL and database administration skills
  • Experience working within financial services, specifically commercial lending and syndication processes
  • Certifications in loan systems or related areas are a plus
