The Institutional Digital Product Manager is responsible for completing the product strategy/roadmap for our Global Institutional websites. The Institutional Digital Product Manager will work with business collaborators & internal/external design & development teams to implement and iterate them. This role will initiate and prioritize projects that drive excellent customer experiences and generate business value. 

Responsibilities:

  • Continue to evolve and enhance the Global Institutional web properties, ensuring they have clear objectives and deliver value as part of the overall Manulife digital ecosystem
  • Clearly present product concepts, roadmap, and delivery timelines to business collaborators
  • Take product enhancements and new product launches from start to finish, thinking through each detail and delivering solid results, collaborating with cross functional teams in every stage of product development
  • Manage program backlog and other means to achieve and maintain targeted business goals
  • Champion user-centric design, leveraging user feedback from various channels, competitive analysis, and technology trends to facilitate building client-centric products and features
  • Work with collaborators on responding to bugs and critical customer facing issues
  • Act as a Business Process owner within the Agile development process
  • Work with internal teams on performing analysis and generating requirements, evaluating feasibility and technical alternatives, and prioritizing and generating deliverables

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree is preferred
  • 4+ years experience of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of financial services products, sales cycle and market 
  • Ability to manage key performance indicators (KPI’s) and leverage reporting data to provide insight to the business and make strategic business recommendations 

Competencies:

The Institutional Digital Product Manager must have excellent communication and leadership skills. They are able to forge successful relationships across the organizational matrix and are comfortable presenting to senior leadership. This role will be required to organize, motivate and align teams across the business in order to achieve program success.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities 
  • Ability to conduct user/design research or work closely with design researchers 
  • Experience steering cross functional individuals with diverse backgrounds toward a common goal
  • Ability to understand and navigate the challenges inherent in a larger organization while staying productive, creative, and engaged 
  • Proven ability to understand customers' operations and business drivers and translate them into product requirements
  • Knowledge in AEM foundational concept
  • Experience using agile, waterfall and hybrid approaches to develop products
  • Experience with vendor relationship management a plus
  • Prioritize product roadmap based on collaborator input
  • Manage and refine product backlog

Salary range is expected to be between

$86,325.00 USD - $155,385.00 USD
