Summary:
As a Salesforce AI Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure Salesforce applications while serving as the primary technical point of contact for your team. You will be responsible for guiding development activities, ensuring alignment with business requirements, and promoting the use of AI-assisted development practices.
Your day-to-day activities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing technical solutions, resolving complex development challenges, and supporting delivery timelines. The role requires strong hands-on Salesforce development skills combined with exposure to AI engineering tools and modern development practices. Your Job will be to mentors developers on best practices, and drives adoption of AI-assisted development for speed and consistency.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Salesforce development.
Lead the design, development, and configuration of Salesforce applications.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned workstreams.
Guide and support developers through technical decision-making.
Review code and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices.
Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools such as Copado AI, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar platforms.
Collaborate with functional consultants, testers, and business analysts.
Provide solutions to technical problems within the team and across dependent teams.
Participate in design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions.
Support estimation, sprint planning, and delivery commitments.
Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to improve team capabilities.
Monitor development progress and proactively identify risks or dependencies.
Ensure quality, performance, and maintainability of delivered solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must Have Skills
Strong proficiency in Salesforce development.
Hands-on experience with:
o Apex
o Triggers
o Lightning Web Components (LWC)
o Salesforce Flows
Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
Good understanding of Salesforce data model and security architecture.
Working knowledge of Salesforce design patterns and development best practices.
Exposure to AI-powered development tools and automation techniques.
Ability to guide teams and make technical decisions.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Certifications Required
Salesforce Platform Developer I – Mandatory
Salesforce Administrator – Mandatory
Salesforce AI Associate – Preferred
Agentforce Specialist – Preferred

Additional Information:
5–7 years of Salesforce development experience.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Exposure to enterprise Salesforce implementations.
15 years of full-time education is required.
