The Leidos Partnership for Defense Health is seeking a Clinical/Revenue Cycle Enterprise Workflow Coordinator to work REMOTELY and support its $4.6B single award DHMSM IDIQ contract, known as MHS GENESIS.  This highly visible program provides modernization of Electronic Health Records (EHR) capabilities for the Department of Defense, supporting nearly 10 million service members and their families worldwide. While every healthcare system is addressing quality, user experience and cost, the MHS GENESIS program has the added challenge of delivering these objectives within the DOD security environment, at the DOD’s global scale, all while supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA)’s vision of a medically ready force ─ which is essential to our national defense.   

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The Workflow Coordinator will join the Clinical Team responsible for optimization and new capability clinical support.   You will work collaboratively with multiple teams to support the implementation, deployment, and sustainment of new capabilities for a dynamic and expanding portfolio of additional health solutions.  Primary responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate projects as determined by leadership; Assist in the coordination and tracking of enterprise DoD workflows from multiple entry points to completion and final approvals.

  • Monitoring scope, aggressive schedules, and leadership reporting

  • Develop, implement, and assist with planning, direction, execution, and oversight of Wave Task Order activities

  • Use a variety of tools to maintain input and output of over 900 enterprise level clinical/revenue cycle workflows

  • Lead implementation of revised workflow processes

  • Assist in the development and implementation of tasks/processes to improve management practices within the team

  • Assist the team to make best use of workflow management tools to allow for the efficient and accurate scheduling, management and performance reporting of the work undertaken

  • Coordinate collaboration and communication of program execution between prime and sub-contractor personnel, agency personnel, and other stakeholders

  • Develop and maintain a capacity planning strategy determining how staff resources will estimate hours, manage deliverables, and report task / project status

  • Interact frequently with managers and directors to assess situations/requests and follow-up appropriately

  • Utilize creative thinking and acquired knowledge to assist in decision making process

  • Prepare for and ensure the smooth running of project meetings, documenting actions and following through to completion

  • Maintain content on internal communication tools, making sure teams are maintaining a consistent structure, pages are relevant, updated regularly and where needed assist with content creation

  • Provide general project administration support when required

FACTORS FOR SUCCESS

  • BS degree in Nursing and 4-8 of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.   

  • US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain an ADP IT-II Public Trust Clearance based on the minimum of a Tier 3 investigation. Federal Government requirement.     

  • Deep Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium experience

  • Highly organized

  • Previous hospital or clinic experience required

  • Expertise in workflow design and workflow designer tool

  • Expertise in facilitation of design and adoption sessions

  • the ability to identify opportunities for improvement in workflow processes and the successful implementation of change

  • Proven understanding of practical process design, documentation and continuous quality improvement disciplines and workflow tools

  • Proven ability to quickly learn new systems and processes

  • Proven ability to identify opportunities for improvement and develop and implement appropriate change

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workload to ensure that multiple activities are completed in an efficient manner to a high standard

  • Good written and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders

  • Proactive, self-starter with the ability to work effectively unsupervised.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
