Job Title: Business Developer - Collectibles Category (FTC – 12 Months)
About the Role and the Team
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Business Developer to join our team and lead the growth of our Collectibles category. This role is pivotal in growing our network of professional sellers and partners in this market. The ideal candidate will have a strategic approach, strong communication & commercial skills, and experience in business development, especially in the e-commerce sector.
What You Will Accomplish
Identify and acquire new professional sellers and partners specializing in Collectibles industry to subscribe and become key players on the platform
Develop and maintain positive relationships with partners to ensure successful onboarding and continued business growth on eBay.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize seller and partner experiences.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to find opportunities for business expansion and improvement.
Implement strategies to scale the business of onboarded sellers, driving revenue growth and improving seller performance metrics.
Provide mentorship and support to sellers and partners, helping them navigate eBay’s tools and resources effectively.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track progress and advise strategic decisions.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
4-6 years + of experience in a similar position, ideally within commercial, e-commerce, or business development roles.
Proficient in English and French, both written and oral.
Self-starter who shows strong business insight and a proactive work style.
Agile and autonomous, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Outstanding negotiation and interpersonal skills, skilled at persuading and involving collaborators at every level.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Passion and knowledge of Collectibles universe and market dynamics (TCG and other collectables, Arts & Antiques…) a strong plus
