The Opportunity

In the Digital Video & Audio Machine Learning Team we build, maintain and deploy start of the art machine learning technologies to our video and audio products. Adobe Sensei Features like Scene Edit Detection, Auto Reframe, Text-Based Editing or Media Intelligence originated in this group.

With an increased focus on AI & ML throughout our apps, we are looking for a computer scientist to help grow our ML based feature portfolio to new frontiers.

What you'll Do

• Work closely on integrating and deploying cloud and on-device based machine learning solutions with some of the best engineers in the field.

• Build ground breaking features that augment our pro video & audio applications with new AI technologies.

• Deploy and maintain a robust tech stack that is used by millions of users every single day.

• Invest in your skills to stay ahead of the latest development, test, and deployment methodologies

• Work with the latest and greatest technologies in the field of GenAI, Large Language Models, Video- and Audio Processing.

What you need to succeed

• MA/MS in computer science, or equivalent with 5-10 years of work experience

• Strong Java & Python coding skills, including an understanding of optimization, security & performance ramifications of coding decisions, and object-oriented design.

• A devops mentality with a good understanding of the SAAS lifecycle including a tried and tested background on automation and deployment procedures for scalable, secure and cost efficient services.

• Ability to read and understand academic papers and translate research into robust, testable production code.

• Foundation in container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).

• Experience with at least one AI / ML technology (diffusion models, LLM models)

• Experience in building, validating and evaluating machine learning models is a plus.

• Experience in working with different ML pipeline technologies (PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc) is a plus.

• Hands-on experience of working with video editing workflows and creative applications is a plus.
